A little about me
Welcome to my website! My name is Janae Hammond and I am a New York Based actor, singer, and dancer! I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and like most people from Missouri I love my Chiefs football and bbq.
My parents took me to my first audition when I was 5, at Starlight Theatre, and the moment I saw the stage I fell in love. It just felt magical.
I graduated from Missouri State University, earning my BFA in Musical Theatre. performing roles like: Demeter, Heather McNamara, and Sister Chantelle. GO BEARS!
I had honor to open one of Disney's newest ships, the Disney wish, where I portrayed Tiana, and understudied the roles of Ariel and Jasmine. I recently finished working at Flat Rock Playhouse where I did a dream role of mine. Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
You can catch me now living out my Harry Potter dreams in the broadway company of Harry Potter in the Cursed child as Rose Granger-Weasley!
