A little about me
welcome to my website! My name is Janae Hammond and I am a New York Based actor, dancer and singer! I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and like most people from Missouri I love my Chiefs football and bbq.
My parent took me to my first audition when I was 5, at Starlight Theatre, and the moment I saw the stage I fell in love. It just felt magical.
I graduated from Missouri State University, earning my BFA in Musical Theatre. performing roles like: Demeter, Heather McNamara, and Sister Chantelle. GO BEARS! I had honor to open one of Disney's newest ships, the Disney wish, where I portrayed Tiana, and understudied the roles of Ariel and Jasmine. I recently finished working at Flat Rock Playhouse where I did a dream role of mine. Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
